8 Bento #143 - Veggie Dumplings & Fruit Kebab

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Sorry about the glare, it's hard to photograph the Planetbox sometimes, it's so shiny!  haha

Today we have some small veggie gyoza dumplings with a little ducky cheese cutout.  I just got some new kebab skewers, which are actually drink stirrers with the ball ends snipped off so that I can easily slide food onto them, and so that they fit better in my bentos.

Bento #143 - Veggie gyoza, ducky cheese, bunny crackers, fruit kebab & homemade chocolate chip cookie.

1 Bento #125 - Chicken & Apple Kebab

I am in love with these Aidells Chicken & Apple sausages.  They are so good, and have a very unique, sweet and savory flavor (and Ella says they taste "weird but good" and asked for them in today's bento.)  I've skewered slices of grilled sausage with some cucumber flowers.

Bento #125 - Chicken & apple sausage, cucumber flowers, cubed apples, multi-grain crackers and guacamole dip.

12 Bento #100! - Gyoza & Fruit Kebab

Friday, August 27, 2010

Hooray!  I've finally arrived at my 100th published bento, just over a year since I started this crazy thing.  I'm using a new two-tier bento box to commemorate this momentous occasion, with - Hello Kitty!  Won't E be surprised?  Hopefully she can get it back together, since it's one of those tricky ones that require precise reassembly.  It's a toss up.

Bento #100 - Chicken gyoza on a bed of artisan lettuce with ponzu sauce, goldfish crackers, strawberry and yellow tomato kebab, flower cucumbers and cherry fruit leather cutouts.

Yay for 100!
