We have a sweet lunch today - it's a cinnamon raisin bagel that I've toasted in the waffler, and then spread with PB&J.
Bento #90 - Waffled cinnamon-raisin bagel with organic sugar-free peanut butter and organic strawberry preserves, steamed broccoli and cauliflower.
Waffling the bagel makes it easier to eat because it's squashed flat and toasty. Take a look!
Butter each side of a halved bagel and place onto a hot waffle iron (I use the hottest setting on mine.)
Then close the top and squeeeeeze until the plates meet.
Let it run a full cycle - on my
Villaware it beeps when it's done, and the green light flashes. Voila!
Toasty, buttery and delicious!

This is too cute! Sounds yummy too. Kudos to you for these wonderful creations.
Cool idea - looks tasty! I was wondering if it would work the other way around - I have I sandwich toaster and am thinking about trying it with waffle batter to see what would happen... if you have already tried it, pls let me know - it sounds kind of messy LOL! :D
I can't say I've tried it in a sandwich toaster because I don't have one, but it does sound messy!
